LOT 1a.
1947 #77 Johnny Coy Ford V 8 60 Midget race car. This is a typical early style midget, most likely built from plans in Ray Kuns Automobile Racing books from the mid 1930’s. This car has a V 8 60 engine with high compression heads, twin carburetors, exhaust headers, magneto ignition, external oil and water pumps. The button on the brake lever is a magneto kill switch, used when there was trouble on the track. See Ful Description
