Marble statue by Jean Baptiste Auguste Clesinger (France 1814 - 1883). Signed "La Charmeuse... J Clesinger Rome 1869". This work is listed in the Catalogue Raisonne (whereabouts unknown, until now). The present owners say it came from a Mrs. Kemp, Ridgewood NJ. The statue has been displayed outside for decades and is sold as is. 39" x 12" x 42".
