This sale will feature an important unreserved Günther Uecker nail sculpture consigned directly from the Fred Eng estate Tivoli N.Y. Mr. Eng, a commercial artist met Mr. Uecker in the 1960’s in N.Y.C., after sharing a mutual admiration for each others work Mr. Eng had this piece commissioned. It has remained in the family ever since and will sell unreserved. Mr. Uecker born in 1930 was one of the members of the artist’s group ZERO.

Copake Auction will hold an unreserved cataloged estate auction on Saturday October 22nd at 5PM. Previews will be Thursday October 20th 11-5 PM, Friday October 21st 11-7PM and Saturday October 22nd 12 Noon until 4:30 PM. This sale will feature an important unreserved Günther Uecker nail sculpture consigned directly from the Fred Eng estate Tivoli N.Y. Mr. Eng, a commercial artist met Mr. Uecker in the 1960’s in N.Y.C., after sharing a mutual admiration for each others work Mr. Eng had this piece commissioned. This sale will also feature the remaining contents of the Cline estate Ashland N.Y., this estate was featured on The Keno’s new TV show “Buried Treasure”. According to Mike Fallon “This estate was packed with 100’s of objects including some very interesting artwork, furniture and accessories”. Also featured in this sale will be session one of the Historic “West Mountain Mission House” (Richard Mason estate) in Pawling N.Y., “This house is so packed we are thinking it will be at least three more truck loads” said Seth Fallon. “Its very exciting for us, keep an eye out for this and our next few sales” said Mike Fallon. This estate features rare Victorian furniture, Continental and American period furniture, lots of artwork, large “Motto” needlework collection, period accessories, china and glassware. “This is the most interesting sale we have had since our new years day auction” said Seth Fallon, “We feel very fortunate being chosen to sell this estate, there will a little something for everyone”.
