Scarce 19th c. wooden polychrome painted Viking ship's figure head figure. Figure 18" W., 22" D., 58" Ht.. Base 30" x 47 1/2" x 30" Ht. (at back of base where figure is mounted in). From a private Nautical collection, owners purchased it in Maine in the 1960's. Professional grade custom made base.
