Copake Auction will hold an unreserved catalogued estate auction on Saturday June 20th at 3PM, previews will be Thursday June 18th 11-5PM, Friday June 19th 11-7PM and Saturday June 20th 12PM until 2:45PM. The auction will feature the contents of an Upper Saddle River home, the contents of several tristate homes plus selected editions.
The auction will feature 750 cataloged lots. All the lots will be viewable at www.copakeauction.com including multiple images and descriptions. The auction will be available live online on liveauctioneers and invaluable/auctionzip. “Last sale we shot over 4000 photographs” said Mike Fallon owner of the gallery for over 30 years, “We try to give the buyer the best exposure of the items as we can”.
The auction will feature a quality selection of 18th, 19th and 20th c. furniture, artwork, folk art, primitives, china, glass and stoneware, textiles and period accessories.
The auction will begin with a selection of fire arms, weapons and fishing poles from a Massachusetts home (NOTE: We will have a FFL Dealer on site, $25.00 per rifle and $50.00 per hand gun. Online bidders have to ship to FFL dealer, transfers made before shipping.). The auction will then proceed with the various estate offerings including a 19th c. inlaid Welsh cupboard, 18th c. fan carved highboy, hutch table, Queen Anne chairs, Windsor chairs, blanket boxes, tavern tables and more.
Over 100 pieces of artwork will be offered including listed artists, prints, etchings etc. A small quality collection of glassware from a Connecticut estate will be sold. Other interesting items include decoys, trade signs, wooden and metalware, weathervanes etc. Two canoes will be sold as well as a selection of vintage and Mid Century items. Also included will be china, glass and stoneware, a Vienna bronze, garden gates, outdoor items, a U.S. Grant autograph and more.
