Copake Auction will hold an unreserved online estate auction March 19th at 10 AM. This sale features 780 estate fresh lots. Featured in this auction will be session three of the Myron and Carolyn Neugeboren collection featuring quilts, baskets, period furniture and accessories as well as contemporary folk art by well known modern artist’s.

The gallery received approximately 1,000 objects from the Neugeboren collection (first group was offered new year’s day). According to Mike Fallon there is at least two more sessions and possibly three. This upcoming sale is comprised of many estates from the tri-state region. With the local real estate boom the gallery has been busier than ever.

From the Neugeboren collection will be 22 quality quilts, 50 antique baskets, period furniture accessories and more. Folk art from the collection includes names such as Gil Russell, Gina Hosfeld, Evelyn and John Dubiel, Barbara Strawser, Lester Breininger, J. Linder and more.

The auction features approximately 200 pieces of artwork including original oil paintings by many listed artists, lithographs, prints, WWII posters and more. Also included will be early metalware, primitives, collectibles, toys and more. Furniture includes 18th and 19th c. period examples as well as Mid Century, decorative, custom and more. Also included will be a pewter collection, fine glass and china, stoneware, sterling silver and more. An item of curiosity will be a hot air balloon basket. The gallery will offer 21 Oriental rugs, lighting, and various home furnishing accessories.
