LOT 101a.C. 1960's Bowden "Spacelander" bicycle in "charcoal" black. Retains rear rack (usually missing), manufactured by Bomard Industries, Grand Haven Michigan, designed by Benjamin Bowden, an English industrial designer noted for his work on early Chevrolet Corvettes and the iconic Ford Thunderbird. This model represents industrial design as art. Mr. Bowden finally produced approx. 522 bicycles circa 1957-1961. Ex Jimmy Valentine collection, North Hollywood, CA. Serial #B009969. Very good condition.
