Welcome to our 12th Annual Bicycle Auction! I would like to start by thanking all our consignors, without you we cannot exist. This year I put out an 揝OS?and thankfully many consignors pitched in with some great consignments. For us this is a labor of love, it is our most exciting event each year and we always look forward to seeing you all.
The Pope Mfg. Co. catalog collection is just about all sold. After this year we have a box of loose catalogs and it will all be dispersed. We are happy to have found a barn fresh lot of highwheels and early safeties in New Hampshire. The Eagle highwheel safety was found in a Connecticut attic having been stored for over 25 years. Lots 495 and 496 (2 early photos) walked in the door as we were proof reading the catalog. They are historically significant gems. We are offering some great balloon bikes this year, lot 42 the 1937 Roadmaster Supreme is maybe the rarest balloon bicycle we have ever sold. The Colson Hi-Lo is also a 搆iller?, a rare bicycle in a rare configuration. I think there must certainly be something here for all collecting levels.

If you have possible items to consign please remember to consign early. We start collecting new items the day of the sale for the following year. Think of us if you have something rare to sell, one item or an entire collection. The catalog is sent to the printers months before the sale so get those items in early. Also keep us in mind for general antiques of any kind. We are nationally known for selling period and country furniture, folk art, accessories, and collectibles. Our February textile auction featuring quilts, coverlets, hook rugs, and samplers, is a national event drawing bids from all over the United States.
