154. c.1945 Schwinn Whizzer, ex Steve Castelli Collection, pictured in Evolution of the Bicycle, Vol.2, page 134. This model is restored in U.S. Army trim. Concourse restoration.

197A. 50?Standard Columbia highwheel manufactured by Pope Mfg. Co. c.1881. Retains its original name badge with patent dates ranging from 1866-1881. Open head design with straight handlebars having wooden pear grips, front brakes, original saddle (cover deteriorated), original front and rear ribbed tires, and original pedals. Some spokes missing. Very original barn fresh good condition. Will need some restoration. Sold: $4,180
221A. Very unusual German bisque and brass aperitif set. Bisque hand painted club uniformed rider on a brass tricycle holding a small decanter and (4) acid etched aperitif tumblers. 9 綌Ht. 10擫. excellent condition.

239. Scarce 1887 Victor spring fork cross frame hard tire safety manufactured by the Overman Wheel Co., Chicopee, MA. According to Donald Adams, author of Collecting & Restoring Antique Bicycles, this model is America抯 first hard tire safety. This bike features Victor抯 famous front half heart suspension, original handlebars, and pedals. Reproduction saddle, frame needs leather cover. Missing brake hardware. Retains original head badge. Very good rideable condition. Sold: $6,050
254. c.1903 English Dursley-Pederson No.4 (crank hanger SN 5358). Meticulously restored. Features include two speed rear hub, Lucas Silver King lamp, Lucas bell, front and rear brakes. Note fishtail on rear frame (axle receptacle) has one tip missing at axle adjuster, otherwise excellent restoration. British racing green paint. Excellent condition. Sold: $4,455
265. Very scarce 1896 Fox Companion side by side or 搒ociable?having brass name badge, 揊ox Flyer 1896 Fox Machine Co., Grand Rapids, Michigan USA? Name badge is probably not original, this model usually didn抰 have a name badge, it has been 搈ade up?for restoration. This machine also has two other name badges, 揚ullman?(Arnold Schwinn) and 揕akeview Cycle Co., Chicago? Also retains NY Sidepath Bicycle License, Suffolk Co., NY 1899 #18612. Total restoration, excellent rider. Excellent restored condition. Sold: $3,520

386. c.1898 Sterling man抯 pneumatic safety chainless manufactured in Kenosha, WI, 揝terling Built Like A Watch? An excellent example of a hyper quality American made bicycle from this period. This bicycle displays excellent engineering and quality finish. Original green paint with great decals and pinstriping. Seat is deteriorated, otherwise in very good original condition. Barn fresh. Tires not matching.

496. Rare c.1880 original promotional photo depicting, 揥illiam Van Wagoner, Champion of Rhode Island? This photograph shows Van Wagoner mounted on the eagle safety highwheel on which he won his records and races in 1889. Photo is sharp, and mat is stained, this is a rare image.
