197A. 50?Standard Columbia highwheel manufactured by Pope Mfg. Co. c.1881. Retains its original name badge with patent dates ranging from 1866-1881. Open head design with straight handlebars having wooden pear grips, front brakes, original saddle (cover deteriorated), original front and rear ribbed tires, and original pedals. Some spokes missing. Very original barn fresh good condition. Will need some restoration. Sold: $4,180

239. Scarce 1887 Victor spring fork cross frame hard tire safety manufactured by the Overman Wheel Co., Chicopee, MA. According to Donald Adams, author of Collecting & Restoring Antique Bicycles, this model is America抯 first hard tire safety. This bike features Victor抯 famous front half heart suspension, original handlebars, and pedals. Reproduction saddle, frame needs leather cover. Missing brake hardware. Retains original head badge. Very good rideable condition. Sold: $6,050

254. c.1903 English Dursley-Pederson No.4 (crank hanger SN 5358). Meticulously restored. Features include two speed rear hub, Lucas Silver King lamp, Lucas bell, front and rear brakes. Note fishtail on rear frame (axle receptacle) has one tip missing at axle adjuster, otherwise excellent restoration. British racing green paint. Excellent condition. Sold: $4,455
