The same collector also purchased an early pieced triangles quilt for $1,000 that was from the early 19th century and was cut for a four poster bed.

Among a selection of quality crazy quilts was lot 56 which sold to a Connecticut dealer on the floor for a reasonable $1,100. A 19th c. red and blue Honey Bee pattern quilt sold for $900 to a collector on the floor.
